The website of the judiciary will be renewed

The website of the court system will be renewed in early 2026. The change applies to the finnishcourts.fi website, the websites of the courts, the Judicial Training Board and Judicial Appointments Board and the National Courts Administration. Old Internet addresses will remain unchanged.

In the website renewal, the content will be transferred to a new platform. For the visitor, the change is visible in a more modern new look. In the future, decisions, news and factual content can also be found in the same place at tuomioistuimet.fi or on the court’s own website.

What will change?

  •  Websites get a new, more user-friendly look.
  •  The findability of the court and its contact information will be improved.
  • The tuomioistuimet.fi website will be separated from the oikeus.fi website.

The exact date of the publication of the website will be announced closer to the publication. The aim is to make the change so that the links made to the tuomioistuimet.fi website or the court’s website will not be broken.
